1.2 Usage Data

Session Recordings: We use session replay technology to record user interactions with the Service, including mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behavior, and page navigation for error monitoring, performance optimization, and user experience improvement purposes. All text content, form inputs, and images are automatically masked and replaced with placeholder content in these recordings. We only capture the structure and technical behavior of your interactions, not the actual content you view or enter.
Technical Session Data: Browser console logs, network requests, and technical errors that occur during your session.

Aggregated or anonymized data that does not directly identify you.

1.3 Student Information - Prohibited

Planuva Education Pty Ltd does not collect, store, or process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of students. The Service is designed exclusively for educators, school administrators, and educational staff for curriculum planning, lesson design, and administrative purposes. Users must not upload, input, or store any student PII within the Service, including but not limited to:

Student names, identification numbers, or contact information
Individual student assessment results or grades
Student behavioral records or disciplinary information
Student photographs or biometric data
Any other information that could identify individual students

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that no student PII is entered into the Service. Any content containing student PII must be immediately removed, and users must notify us at privacy@planuva.com if student PII has been inadvertently uploaded.

The Student Information restrictions may be modified or overridden by a separate written Data Processing Agreement between Planuva Education Pty Ltd and the user or their institution, executed by authorized representatives and specifying appropriate data protection measures in accordance with applicable privacy and education laws.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
To process transactions and send you related information, including invoices and payment confirmations.
To communicate with you, including responding to inquiries and providing customer support.
To improve, personalize, and enhance your experience with the Service.
To monitor and analyze usage trends and activities.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

With Your Consent: For any other purpose disclosed to you with your consent.

4. International Data Transfers

We reserve the right to immediately remove any content containing student PII and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our student privacy policy.

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For example:

Account data is retained for 7 years after account closure to comply with tax and legal obligations.

The Service is designed for educators and is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. Due to the nature of the product, we may collect, store and process data that is related to children.
