Let’s be real.
Teaching is hard.
You’re expected to be a curriculum guru, a behaviour whisperer, a part-time counsellor — and somehow deliver Social media worthy lessons multiple times a day.
When I was in the classroom, I wanted every lesson to matter. I wanted my students to enjoy learning and actually remember what we did — not just because it was on the test, but because it meant something.
But great lessons take time. Time we don’t have.
Instead, I found myself planning at night, tweaking programs on weekends, and rewriting units on public holidays while everyone else was down at the beach. Sound familiar?
And even when I did finally get a good flow going — boom — the syllabus would change and suddenly I had to toss half of it out and start again.
Some weeks, I was just surviving. The lesson planning was rushed. It didn’t land. And I felt like I’d let my students down.
If you’ve ever felt that, you’re not alone.
The truth is, if I could have walked into every lesson knowing it was sorted — knowing the structure was tight, the activities were purposeful, and the students would be engaged — I would’ve felt like I’d finally cracked it. Like I was the teacher I wanted to be.
That’s why we are building Planuva.
It’s for teachers who care. Who want to create brilliant lessons, but also want their Sundays back.
We’ve designed it to make curriculum planning fast, but still high quality. So you can spend more time refining your craft — not buried in admin.
And this is just the beginning. We’re building it with teachers, not just for them.
So if this sounds like something you’ve been craving, come join us.
Let’s make teaching, and learning, better - together.
